We have all heard the sirens and thought it is just the fire rescue going to help someone it is not a big deal. Well that answers my first question of how many people really have a heart for the ones risking their lives for them. Also from another source called firefighters life it told that many people will stand right in front of a piece of apparatus will fully in route to a call. This also ties into another question, why do people get mad at us when our response is slow? As of a book called (Life Lines ) says that many people get mad at us the fire rescue when we roll up on the call and it has been 30 minutes since they called 911.
